Welcome to the WVFM Kids Market…
…happening the last Saturday of June, July and August.
The WVFM is delighted to offer this opportunity for young entrepreneurs (fifteen or younger) to sell their own handcrafts, home-grown produce or baked goods (please note that sale and resale of orchard fruit is not permitted).
This is a unique opportunity. Children will be introduced to various skills, such as social interaction, marketing, presentation, and money management.
What’s required to join?
There are a few simple rules to make this a safe and fun place for children to vend:
- Children must be fifteen years of age or younger, and must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times while in the market. Vendor’s children may vend from their parent’s stall.
- All produce/products offered for sale (no orchard fruits please) must be grown, harvested or produced in Chelan, Grant or Douglas Counties.
- Please ensure that your child is adequately hydrated and use sunscreen (if appropriate).
- To be able to vend in the market, arrival time must be no later than 7:15 am.
- All food products sold in the market must be prepared in accordance with Chelan Douglas Health District Rules. The sale of baked goods being sold in the market must comply with regulations.
