Fall Harvest Baking Contest

Make your favorite fall baked item and enter to win!
Categories: Cakes, Pies, Breads & Muffins, Cookies & Bars.
You may use any fresh, frozen or dried fruit, berry or nut.
Judging will be on Flavor (20pts), Appearance (20pts), and Originality (10pts).
Prize categories: (1) Grand Champion Overall (2) 1st Place Overall
1st Place Overall will be awarded a large basket filled with produce and products from Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market vendors.
Prizes are donated by Wenatchee Wild, J.C.Penneys and Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market.
Grand Champion will be awarded $50 by Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market Association, 2 Wenatchee Wild entry tickets, 2 Wenatchee Wild logo T-shirts, Large floral bouquet.

Mail a completed entry form with your name, address, phone number, category, and recipe name to:

You can also drop off your completed entry form in person during market day.

We encourage you to submit your entry form early (email, mail, drop-off).
Contest Rules:
Baked item must be accompanied with the recipe. Note: Recipes may be included in a future farmers market cook book. All entries are subject to the rules of the Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market.
For food safety, baked goods must be of a type that does not require refrigeration (for example: no cream pies).
Bake goods must be from scratch. No mixes or pre-mixed crusts.
Please bring your baked item to the market Bake-Off Contest booth Oct 1st between 9:30 am and 10:00 am to enter.
Judging and Winner Announcements
Judging begins at 10:30 am, winners will be announce at 11:30 am. You must be present to win. Photographs of winners will be taken. Baked items should be picked up and taken home at the end of the event.
